IHE Australia committees and working groups - how to get involved?

IHE currently has a general committee consisting of interested IHE sponsors and supporter organisations, along with an executive management Board made up of the IHE sponsor representatives. Meetings are generally open to IHE members.

Standing workgroups are established for particular tasks. The current 3 are:

  • Connectathon/Showcase management group
  • Radiology Deployment
  • Patient Care

IHE members are welcome to participate in and lead local IHE activities. Each group will have at least one Co-Chair and a sponsoring organisation to provide the secretariat.
Co-Chairs are elected by the group and endorsed by the IHE Australia Board.

Each group has a section on the wiki.

There are other ways to get involved depending on your role and that of your employer:

  • Vendors: Deployment of IHE profiles, implementation/participation in connectathons and showcases, technical leads
  • IT systems users: monitors at connectathons, demonstrators at showcases, subject matter experts and subcommittee leads
